IT'S RELEASE DAY - HER LONE WOLF (X-OPS 2)!

It's release day for HER LONE WOLF , Book 2 in my action-packed X-OPS Series, and I'm so excited!  It picks up where HER PERFECT MATE , Book 1, left off, featuring the hunky, if a little moody wolf shifter Clayne Buchanan as the hero. After HER PERFECT MATE came out, Clayne was very worried that you guys might have gotten the wrong idea about him, so he’s thrilled that you’ll finally get to meet the real him. Even he admits he had a lot of baggage in the first book. But I assured him that after you read HER LONE WOLF , you’re going to fall in love with him just like a certain FBI agent he knows! If you've read HER PERFECT MATE , then you know the shifters in the X-OPS Series are a little different. They don't actually shift into an animal, but can instead take on the traits, attributes, and abilities of an animal. When I first started writing the X-OPS Series, I stumbled across an interesting article on the internet about genes and DNA and how much common buildi...

Release Week: Hunter By Night

My youngest just graduated from preschool. WooHoo! Part of me misses adorable, tiny babies, but it’s so exciting to see those babies growing up and forming their own personalities. My youngest, he loves rock music already. OneRepublic, Imagine Dragons, and Rage against the Machine. That’s my boy. ;)  On the last day before preschool, my kiddo brought home an invite for a Frozen-themed birthday party. Isn’t everything Frozen-themed these days? I’m beginning to think I’ve had “Let It Go” stuck in my head since Rick Astley stopped putting out records (Rick, come back, we need you). The big revelation in looking at this birthday party invite, was that the birthday-boy who’d sent it was about to turn five. Which made me realize that my birthday boy is about to turn five. He wants balloons. I should totally get on that.  What’s cool, is the final book in my Chronicles of Yavn trilogy, Hunter by Night just released. I started writing the first in th...

What I Want Under MY Tree this Christmas! by Terry Spear

REALLY, must I say anything else at all??? But I'm a writer, so I have to say something! I know, no one will be paying any attention to me, not when everyone is eyeballing my Christmas packages. After Thanksgiving, I always set up the tree. But you know how much of a tangle the Christmas lights can be in. So I'll need help. And here's my first choice helper. A wolf. Well, he was a wolf and got sort of tangled up in the lights, and then when he shifted, voila! Who cares if he's much of a help or not? The fun of it is that I get to untangle him! What I want to know is would anyone else like the job??? When all is said and done, it's time for a romp in the hay. So to speak. We've got to get the outdoor lights put up, but I tired the poor wolf out with all the other decorations he helped me to display and well, anyone raising their hand to help revive him??? The nice thing about wolves is they come in a pack, so you can enjoy meeting a variety of them...

Oh shoot! No, don't!

It was my day to blog and I forgot (until just now when I peeked at my other calendar.) Have I mentioned I have a new book out? I have no excuse...except for gobs of promo to announce my first mass market paperback release, whirlwind blog/book signing tour and keeping dates in two different places. I apologize profusly. Okay, so summer is the theme. Is it summer? I've put everything on hold until after June. Which is a bummer since June is probably my favorite month. I like September too, except it heralds the end of summer and I get bummed out. No, really. I think I have a touch of S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder.) I'm such a summer girl that I convinced my husband to take me someplace warm every winter. He knows I need something to look forward to to get me through the lengthening darkness. He can see for himself how much happier and more mobile I am in the sun. This year I signed myself up for the 'Cruise with your Muse' conference in January and I'll be goin...

Don't Cry Wolf Video Trailer

There's something to be said about any species who truly care about one another--not that there's this primal urge to mate with another and that's the extent of the relationship--like in so many kinds of animals. Procreation of the species, a biological urge, nothing more. But like with wolves that for the most part mate for life, it's really nice to know that some species feel so close to one another when they choose a mate, it's forever. :) So I dedicate the Don't Cry Wolf video book trailer to any species of animal that takes their mate relationship seriously--and loves them forever. :) Terry, who is still taking care of a sick mother, who is getting better though, because she's demanding lots more...LOL...... Life is Just Getting in the Way!!!

I'm so sorry I'm so late in posting, and that I haven't been commenting on posts, but life is just impossible right now. I took my mother in for surgery Wednesday, finally got her home yesterday afternoon, and she's so sick I may have to take her back to the hospital. I've spent all morning on the phone trying to get her something to take to stop the nausea, and I'm afraid, playing catch up, I'm behind on everything. Course, that's when I get bear orders, and everything else. Still not half unpacked, and well, everything is turned upside down as usual. Working on getting endorsements for Don't Cry Wolf and it's coming out March 1st!!! So that's the highlight in my life! Don't you love the cover??? Hopefully October things will begin to settle down! Hope everyone is having a pleasant Monday!!! :) Terry, the Overwhelmed http://www.terryspear.com/ Heart of the Wolf, Don't Cry Wolf (Mar 1), Betrayal of the Wolf, Allure of the Wolf
