Sourcebooks Casablanca Romance Authors

Hey everyone! Brooklyn Ann here. I've had to make a tough decision. With my publishing schedule for the year and the fact that now that I've released The Highwayman's Bite , I won't be having any Scandals With Bite books releasing in 2018, (Though don't worry. I have a feeling that there are more stories in that world to be told.) I've decided to leave the Casablanca Author blog for now. However, I WILL remain on the Team Sourcebooks Facebook Page (If you're not following our page, do it so you don't miss out!) because then I'll still be able to spread the word when one of my books goes on sale or if I have any fun giveaways or appearances. Speaking of appearances, I will be attending the 2018 RT Booklover's Convention in Reno this May, along with many other Sourcebooks authors. In fact, the fantabulous Paige Tyler and I will be on a panel together AND be hosting two amazing parties along with other amazing authors! Check out my Appear...

However, the dangers that face them both have only just begun. For a PDF of this media kit, go HERE . Hi everyone, Brooklyn Ann here. I'm in the stages of wrapping up my 4th Scandals With Bite novel, HIS RUTHLESS BITE and writing my 4th Brides of Prophecy novel. Anyway, to explain the title of my post, like many authors, I spend a lot of time on social media to interact with my readers and chat with other authors. But one downside of being on social media is seeing all the political posts, seeing people being so hateful to each other. There have been times where it made me so depressed that I had writer's block. However, thanks to my readers and fellow authors, I've also seen lots of happy news, received excellent advice, and gotten lots of good book recommendations. I've been remembering to read more books with happy endings, which inspire me to get back to work on creating my own. Instead of focusing on all the hate in the world, I'm focusing on love. I think about all the wonderful things my sweetie does for me. I interact with my readers with only...

Hi everyone! Brooklyn Ann here. I just wanted to let you all know that my vampires still have fangs in Regency England! If you've been keeping up with me, you'll have noticed that the past several months have been dedicated to my new heavy metal romance series, as well as my newest installment in my urban fantasy BRIDES OF PROPHECY series,  Conjuring Destiny ...which, by the way, the first book is free if you're interested in checking it out. However, all has been quiet in regards to my regency paranormal romance, "Scandals with Bite" series since last Spring when BITE AT FIRST SIGHT released. Bite at First Sight "Is this the last book?" many reviewers have commented. I am pleased to say that the answer is NO! I just finished writing His Ruthless Bite , (Scandals With Bite, Book 4)  so oh yes, you will learn what happens to Lenore and the Lord Vampire of Rochester. And here's the blurb! The Lord Vampire of Rochester doesn’t do a favor wit...

Happy New Year, everyone! 2015 was great for me and I am ready for an amazing year. I'll have at least 4 releases this year, each in a different series, (Including Scandals With Bite Book 4) so it's also going to be a busy year. On top of that, I've made the daunting decision to get a sewing machine and learn how to use it. Aside from all the work and challenges I and many of you are facing, I'd like to focus on the fun, guilty pleasures to look forward to this year. Many movies, and TV shows are on the horizon. And for a non-TV watcher, I find myself with a surprising amount of shows on my list. 0-o If you're in the US, that will be starting with.... Downton Abbey!!! (PBS) It's on tomorrow!!! It's also supposed to be the final season, so I hope there's a decent resolution for my beloved characters. In February (On President's Day) 11-22-63. (Hulu) It's based on the excellent novel by Stephen King, about a man who goes back ...

OMG, the long-awaited third book in my historical paranormal romance series is here!! BITE AT FIRST SIGHT is the story of Rafael Villar, the surly scarred vampire introduced in BITE ME, YOUR GRACE, and Cassandra Burton, widowed Countess of Rosslyn and aspiring physician. This book was so fun to write! Here's the blurb: "Her interest is purely scientific… Cassandra Burton wants to study medicine, surgery, healing, and everything related to the human body and its mysteries—and she’s willing to rob graves to do it. But a lady can meet dark and dangerous characters lurking around the cemetery. And who could be more dangerous--and fascinating--than Rafael Villar, Lord Vampire of London? If she could study his physiology, she could learn so much that would help humans. After all, he’s immortal—and Cassandra is now his prisoner. Until she gets close enough to touch As if Rafael didn’t have enough to worry about, with a rebellion brewing and his allies out of reach...

Hi, I'm Regency Paranomal Romance Author, Brooklyn Ann. My books feature unconventional heroines finding unconventional romance with peers who have fangs. I figured today I'd share why that works so well for me.  Vampires were perfectly suited for the British Aristocracy, which was a major reason why I put them in Regency ballrooms in my Scandals with Bite series. Here are the reasons why that works out so well: They're night owls. Most of the balls and operas and festivities in the regency went from dusk till dawn. A vampire's nocturnal behavior would be unnoticed in this environment. The Window Tax Seriously, there was a tax on how many windows one had on their home. People often boarded up their windows to avoid the tax. This was beneficial to vampires in that no one thought it amiss if they did so to protect themselves from the sun An Age of Enlightment In an age of reason, vampires are regarded as mere folklore. This disbel...
