It always seems so far off in the future, and then suddenly it's HERE! Tomorrow is the official launch date for Love at First Flight, even though it's been in stores for a week or so already. I'm already hearing from readers, who are enjoying Michael and Juliana's story! One of them wrote to me over the weekend: "I started reading it at the book store for over 2 hours and finally decided to buy your book. I loved the story you created between Michael and Juliana. I couldn't stop reading because I wanted to know what happened. I loved how you wrote the character of Michael ... I've been looking for another new author to read and I'm happy I found you. I'm glad I went home when I did because you wrote all the emotional parts so beautifully that I couldn't help crying."
There'll be lots of opportunities to win copies of Love at First Flight and Line of Scrimmage this week! Come by the launch party tomorrow here on the Casa Blog as well as on my blog. I'll be announcing a Launch Week Contest tomorrow, so be sure to come by to get the details!
And don't forget to come to my Love at First Flight Book Club meeting on July 20 at 7 p.m. EDT. Warning, there will be spoilers, so make sure you read the book before the party! I’ll be giving away some great prizes to participants.
This book has been 10 years in the making—from idea to publication. I look forward to celebrating tomorrow with my Casa sisters and all our friends!

Congratulations Marie!!!! I picked up L@FF a week ago and Borders. I took pictures with my phone, but for some stupid reason, ie- I don't know what I am doing - they did not save! I was very bummed. But the good news is that you were on the endcap shelf! So cool.
ReplyDeleteEmily read it in one 24 hours sitting and was speechless and teary eyed. All she could say, over and over, was, "It was so good!" Now I am done with Judi's IOHH (excellent!) and will be starting in on yours! Yippee!!!!!
Best of luck. Here comes another Sourcebooks bestseller!
Looking forward to it!!!
ReplyDeleteYay, Marie!!!! You GO girl!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! Sounds like many readers are in for happy days. I'll go looking for your blog now...
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by the impromptu blog, ladies!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo, congrats, Marie!!! I wanted to comment this morning before work, BUT, we had violent storms in Texas again, lost our electricity again, so here I am, trying to put on my makeup in the dark, no way to manually open the garage door where of course my car is parked, so take my mother's car, drive in a monsoon, and her front tires are nearly flat, run it by jiffy lube (since I was an hour early going to work where I figured there would be AC and electricity to work by), and the registration is expired on the car, the jiffy lube guy tells me. And, get to work and my key to the library is in MY car, that's sitting in the garage at home. No way was I driving home in the beastly downpour!!! Storms are on their way again and so I've got to get off soon.
ReplyDeleteSo super on having the new release, Marie!!!Looks like you're scheduled to be everywhere!!! Have fun! :)
Congrats, Marie! I can't wait to read it!
