Welcome Back to Apple Grove ARC Giveaway by C.H. Admirand

Christmas came in July this year...seriously! I received ARCs for my December book--WELCOME BACK TO APPLE GROVE--the other day and couldn't wait to post the pic of the book sitting on my kitchen table, propped up by my favorite clear, green glass coffee mug.

I guess the little girl in me still loves Christmas morning and giving gifts. :)   Soooo...my gift to one lucky reader will be a signed ARC of book 3 in my contemporary small town series --WELCOME BACK TO APPLE GROVE.

Here's the back cover blurb:
Grace Mulcahy thought she'd finally gotten Apple Grove, Ohio out of her system. Until she's lured back for a family barbeque and spies a broad-shouldered hottie hanging out at the grill. He somehow seems utterly at ease, whether flipping burgers or horsing around with her hellion nephews. Why didn't her brother-in-law tell her he had such gorgeous friends? Suddenly her mouth is watering for more than her best friend's famous pie.

When firefighter Pat Garahan sees Grace, it's like a five-alarm bell goes off and he's the one ablaze. She says she wants to leave Apple Grove, but he will do whatever it takes to keep her around. The life of a firefighter isn't an easy one though, and he'll have to prove their immediate sparks can have a lasting chance at love...

Question: How far across genres would you follow a favorite author?

Please be sure to leave your email address when you comment to be entered into the drawing. Random.org will choose the name for me.

Happy Reading!
C.H.

  1. Diana Gabaldon is my absolute favorite author. I have read her Outlander series (historical fiction with some romance), the Lord John series (mystery), and Outlander-related novellas which have been published in anthologies. Basically anything she writes will find a way into my reading stack :)

  2. My philosophy is 'never say never'. If there is an author who's writing you love, it is highly likely that the writing will be excellent across genres. So I say "go for it"! Follow your favorite authors where ever they may go!

  3. I'd LOVE to win this!!! I'd follow to a point I think. I like some paranormal, but if you were suddenly writing about vampires and zombies, I think that would be the line I wouldn't cross...just no interest in stuff that for me is so far out there. Thanks for the chance to win!!

  4. Hi! love for a chance to win this book! I don't like zombies so I'd have to draw the line there, for I have no interest in them. Have a nice weekend!

I'm not a sci-fi and zombie fanatic, so that would draw the line for me.:)

  7. Hi Gina D. I had the great pleasure of meeting Diana Gabaldon a number of years ago. She is a fabulous speaker as well as an amazing author :)

  8. Hi Annie! I missed not being able to be in Atlanta, but had to cancel due to family issues.

I do follow my favorite authors wherever they go, but I do know some readers only read specific genres. :)

  9. Hi Peaces of Me. I agree there are certain genres that I'm just not interested in, and although I love certain authors, wouldn't follow them there. :)

  10. Hi Bookworm54 - I have to agree about zombies...a few years back our youngest (who's now 25) liked to watch zombie movies during breakfast...YIKES! Sean of the Dead was one of his faves.

  12. Hi Lody - interesting that a number of you aren't interested in zombies...I'm not a big fan of horror movies made after the 1950s. Soooo, no zombies for me either :)

  17. Since I really only read contemps, that would be it. I would do a rom supsense and if the storyline really grabbed me, a historical romance.

  18. If I like an author's style, I will try other genres written by that person unless it is something that I really don't like (e.g. horror). Thanks for the giveaway.
