Who doesn't love free samples?

Hi guys! Gina Lamm here. Going to a conference, show, or fair with my mother is always fun. The woman adores anything free. It doesn't matter what it is, if she could use it or not, or if it's the least bit practical. Whenever we leave, we're burdened down with bags full o'stuff. Eventually (sooner if my father gets hold of it) most of the flyers, fans, and useless stuff gets tossed, but let there be a lip balm or a notepad in there and mom will hold onto it forever. If you feel a kinship with my mother, then today's your lucky day! I've got some incredibly talented friends, and one of them has put together a super-awesome romance sampler just in time for some beach reading. And best of all, it's free! TEASERS AND TASTES features some incredible authors, with books separated by genre, and page samples of each to give you a great idea of whether you might enjoy that author's work. KISS THE EARL has finally arrived!

Excuse me while I have a wee muppet flail. GIFSoup KISS THE EARL is finally here!! It's here! It's really really here! Okay, so those of you who don't know what I'm flopping around about, here. But then something called "rebranding" happened, and that meant new cover, new marketing, new edits, and a lot more time. It was stressful, but luckily I have an angel of an editor who never let me flip out too much. :) The result is a story that I think is the strongest in the series. I h...

Getting Personal - our Little Lamm

Hi everyone! I've been a little incognito for the past couple of months. I've barely tweeted, ventured onto Facebook, or even participated in forums like I normally do. The reason for this? Personal, important, and something that not a lot of people talk openly about. My husband and I are going through an in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle. It's amazing to me how little people know about it. The first thing people usually think of is Octomom, or test tube babies. But the reality of the process is fascinating, terrifying, and completely amazing. Day 5 blastocyst - From Wikimedia Commons My husband and I have been going through infertility diagnostics and treatments off and on for ten years. It's been very, very difficult. And part of the reason it's so difficult? It makes you feel ashamed of your own body.  I'm open about our infertility treatments because it's my way of tearing down the wall of quiet shame that infertility forces on us. I want pe...
