My Favorite Lines

On Tuesday The Rogue You Know was released. I want to share some of my favorite quotes from the book. Comment on your favorites from chapters 6-10 to enter to win a $10 gift card to Amazon. Chapter Six “Stay here,” he told her. “I’ll be back in a quarter of an hour.” “You’re leaving me?” She sounded almost panicked. “Can’t bear to be without me, can you?” “I’d be happy never to see you again!” she spat. He was glad to hear the warmth in her voice. She had fight left in her. “But you will. I’m for the gin shop. We need supplies.”   Chapter Seven She looked to the side, where his hand pinned hers to the wall. “You’re so warm.” “And you’re so incredibly soft.” He freed one finger and stroked it along the inside flesh of her corresponding finger. Hot Ticket Is Finally Here!

by Olivia Cunning I'm so excited that Hot Ticket is finally in the hands of my fans. They have been waiting for this book for-freaking-ever. It was originally supposed to be released in October of 2011. And stuff happened. And the release was delayed. So when I say it's a relief that this book has finally seen the light of day, that is the understatement of the century. I feel like a giant boulder has been lifted from my shoulders. We love him for what he is on the inside. Well, the outside is pretty cute too. ...

Procrastination Will Be the Death of Me

I've been putting off writing this blog. A little birdie (actually an Angry Bird) told me I could do that. He keeps saying, "Why write a blog today that you can write tomorrow?" Well guess what? It's now just after 2:00 AM and here I am writing this blog that I should have already written and scheduled to post at my appropriate time. All this for some silly golden eggs and three stars? Like Tracey and the others, it's not just writing that I find myself procrastinating at. Every task in my life has been bit by the procrastination monster every so now and again. The bill that I kept avoiding to pay, the essay I had to write for my college history class, the incident report for my full time job. I could go on and on. I've often wondered why this habit keeps rearing its ugly head. Do I like setting myself up for failure? Do I thrive on panic as I scramble to finish my taxes? And trust me, that panic isn't good when you find yourself owing Uncle Sam either. M...
