KISS THE EARL has finally arrived!

Excuse me while I have a wee muppet flail. GIFSoup KISS THE EARL is finally here!! It's here! It's really really here! Okay, so those of you who don't know what I'm flopping around about, here. Check out this sweetness, and tell me I'm wrong to be jumping up and down. :) This is the third installment in the Geek Girls series. But don't let that stop you! This story stands on its own. It's gotten great reviews from RT (!!!) and Booklist (!!!!) and early reviewers alike. I'm extremely proud of this story. It took a whole lot to get it out there, but now that it's here, I'm over the moon! This book was scheduled to release over a year ago. But then something called "rebranding" happened, and that meant new cover, new marketing, new edits, and a lot more time. It was stressful, but luckily I have an angel of an editor who never let me flip out too much. :) The result is a story that I think is the strongest in the series. I h...

Cures for the V-Day Hangover

If you're reading this, several things may have happened to you last night. 1. You may have had a romantic evening with your significant other, which ended up with a bottle of wine and a pair of fluffy handcuffs. 2. You may have spend the night on the town with your single friends, partying it up like the wild young things you are. 3. You may have spent the night alone crying into a family-sized bag of Cheetos and watching "An Officer And A Gentleman" for the seventeenth time. From Wikimedia Commons If any of these things happened to you, you may have what I like to call the Valentine's Day Hangover. You know the feeling. That crash at the end of a conversation-heart sugar buzz, that irritation of spending a hundred bucks on a teddy that lasted about thirty seconds, the soul-crushing loneliness of realizing your relationship with a book boyfriend is totally one-sided. Yeah. I get all these things. So here's a fantastic cure for what ails you. The hair ...

The Geek Girls are a-changin'... CONTEST!

It's a call that authors both dread and long for... Hey author, that series you write? We want to rebrand it. As you can see, book three in the "Geek Girls" series was titled THE GEEK GIRL AND THE RELUCTANT RAKE, and given a super-cute cover. Nice, huh? BUT, I've got some news.  Sourcebooks has decided that the Geek Girls series needs a fresh look and a new push. This is great! Sadly, this cute cover won't see the shelves, but with a new look and a different title, more people will get to experience Ella and Patrick's love story, so I couldn't be more thrilled.  Do YOU have a great idea for a new title for the third Geek Girl book? Here's your chance to be a part of the series! For every title idea you send me, you'll get one entry. On February 14th (deadline has been extended for those of you who entered via my newsletter!) , I'll select a winner using  random.org . That winner will get a Gina Lamm & Regina Cole prize pack with book...

Fun with Research on GEEK GIRLS DON'T DATE DUKES

In only 5 days, GEEK GIRLS DON'T DATE DUKES will release. It seems unreal. I don't know if it was crazy fast or impossibly slow, but somehow, the time has passed and Leah and Avery will go out into the world to share their story with everyone! It's definitely a trippy thing. I thought it was weird when I had one book in paperback, but now? You may as well toss me in the loony bin. ;) I wanted to do something a little different with this book. I ADORE Regency romances, but sometimes they can be a bit predictable. Of course the beautiful young lady is going to fall for a handsome, titled gentleman, right? That's just how these things work! I know this, you guys know this, fans of Regencies all over the world know this. Leah Ramsey knows this, so when she goes back in time, that's who she's convinced she's going to find. Hurray for the unexpected! I definitely got to delve a little deeper into the time period in this book than its' predecessor, TH...
