Desperate Hearts is the story of a young woman from New York City who flees to the little gold town of Alder, Montana in an attempt to hide from someone wealthy and powerful whom she desperately fears and who could accuse her of murder. Danger in the little gold town is everywhere, and lawman/vigilante Mitch Brady takes it upon himself to watch out for the beautiful new stranger. Little does he know she's running from the law, and in return, our heroine has trouble trusting Mitch because he IS the law! It's a fun, "wild west" story with a great hero.
