Actually, I was part of that book signing, as I have been every year since its inception. Bob’s Beach Books in Lincoln City, Oregon, hosts one of the largest book signings in Oregon every August. Oregon beaches are always cold in the summer, usually because of fog, but mostly because of the west wind that constantly blows off the ocean.
