I know we’re tired of all the New Year’s resolutions, so I won’t bore you with mine, which is to be more positive (oops. Okay, I lied. There it is.) What I’d like to share with you, however, is my list of Heart Words for 2017 (a term coined by my six-year-old son). They’re for inspiration, mostly, like when I get lost writing a book, I go back to those bare bones ideas I’d come up with in the beginning. These words are my 2017 road map—my sign posts to happiness: Family : Part of being positive is recognizing all the good stuff and I’m one of those very lucky people whose life is chock full of family. I have a ridiculously supportive husband, I have two children who are healthy and happy and who light up my life. I have parents and brothers and lots of family close by and some far away and they are all amazing and wonderful.
