The Jaguars are Coming!!!

More to come! August: A Hero of a Highland Wolf, October: A Highland Wolf Christmas

But first the jaguars are coming!

June 4!

I have to say that I'm getting confused. I turned in Jaguar Pride a little bit ago. That one is coming in Feb of next year and it's about Costa Rica. Jaguar Hunt and Jaguar Fever are set in Belize. I'm not getting the stories confused. All I have to think of is David, JAG agent, being in jail and Tammy, Enforcer agent, has to get him out, a trail of condoms (you have to read the story), a missing zoo jaguar, and I've got the right story--Jaguar Hunt. But I keep thinking Jaguar Fever is coming out next. It came out, already, I keep reminding myself! That one was about David's brother Wade. David kept trying to take over the story with his humorous antics.

Because of that, and you notice the smirk on the cover?--he had to be in jail when Tammy first hooks up with him. And she's NOT happy about it. She's already had trouble with some agents on assignments who haven't pulled their weight and now this one can't even keep himself out of jail?

Yep, that's David for you. I had WAY too much fun with this one. He's very protective, very hot and sexy, and really funny.

Every book is totally different. The humor slips into them without my say so. It  just... happens. I've tried to write very seriously, but I can't.

I've tried to write straight humor, but I can't.

It's the combination that makes it fun for me--the mystery, suspense, romance, sexy shifters, adventure, AND the humor.

There is nothing worse than a man who has no sense of humor. Really. At least for me. Because I have this quirky sense of humor and a man that doesn't, just doesn't get me.

So in my stories, my characters have to have a sense of humor.

I had a critique partner once who was a high school English teacher and she was hilarious in her own writing and life. I loved how she would tell me the themes of my stories when I didn't know I had any. But the first book she read of mine, she said that my humor sneaked up behind her when she wasn't looking. I always loved that analogy.

Sometimes my humor is more blatant. It just depends on the characters. I really truly don't plot out my stories. I can't. I would sit and stare at a blank screen forever.

So for a short time, 15 copies of Jaguar Hunt is being given away:

An agent and a jaguar-shifter chase trouble, and each other, through the jungles of Belize…  Agent Tammy Anderson has a reputation: she prefers to work alone. So when she’s paired up on a mission with jaguar-shifter David Patterson—who’s only recently been released from jail—to say she’s less than thrilled is a understatement. Until she realizes that this sexy agent has what it takes…
Soon, what started as an “easy” mission to locate a missing jaguar takes the pair to Belize, where they’re chasing down two renegade teen shifters who know more than they’re telling. As the action heats up, can they keep their minds on the job and off of each other?

Giveaway dates: Apr 11 – May 16, 2014

15 copies available, 343 people requesting

Countries available: US and CA

And it's on sale for now also:
Jaguar Hunt releases Jun 3, but the print version is on a sale price of $5.05, nearly a $3 savings for this preorder. So if you want it, now’s the time to get it!

Two deadly predators…
As a feline Enforcer, Tammy Anderson has one objective: locate the missing jaguar and return it to the States. She doesn’t have time for distractions, and she definitely doesn’t have time for sexy shifters with more muscles than sense.

One hot mission…
Everyone and their brother has warned JAG agent David Patterson that Tammy is Ms. Hands-Off…which only makes him more determined to get very hands-on. But things heat up in the steamy jungles of Belize and their simple mission gets a whole lot more complicated. Now it’s going to take everything David’s got to protect the gorgeous she-cat who somehow managed to claw her way past his defenses…and into his heart.

  1. This looks terrific, Terry. And what a cover! I love books with humor. Not slapstick, but the subtle stuff that, as your friend said, sneaks up on you. Congrats on the release! I'm going to have to look into your jaguars. :)
