  7. I have found YA books to be quite fun and edgy. The romances take me back to those first experiences of dating and falling in love. It is fun. Rachel Caine and her Morganville Vampires was my introduction into interesting YA books.

  9. I haven't been reading a lot of YA lately although I do have a PC & Kristen Cast on my more urgent TBR pile (because it's from the library!). Just finished Emma Wildes' Twice Fallen, Desiree Holt's Erected and am starting Carol Berg's Daemon Prism, Kathryne Kennedy's Lord of Illusion and Suzanne Rock's Velvet Steel (-:

  10. Well of course there was the Hunger Games that I really enjoyed. To be honest I read so much I don't always remember if what I'm reading is YA or not. I think YA's are definitely just as good for adults as other genres. I've not read any of the ones mentioned above but they sound like wonderful reads.

  14. Right now I'm reading "Ten Things we Did That we Probably shouldn't have" and "Everneath".

I admit I've only been reading so much YA for about 4 years, but there seems to have been a huge outpouring of stories that are more complex, gripping and that don't treat the teen reader like they only have one thing on their minds all the time.
