Life is Just Getting in the Way!!!

I'm so sorry I'm so late in posting, and that I haven't been commenting on posts, but life is just impossible right now. I took my mother in for surgery Wednesday, finally got her home yesterday afternoon, and she's so sick I may have to take her back to the hospital. I've spent all morning on the phone trying to get her something to take to stop the nausea, and I'm afraid, playing catch up, I'm behind on everything.

Course, that's when I get bear orders, and everything else. Still not half unpacked, and well, everything is turned upside down as usual.

Working on getting endorsements for Don't Cry Wolf and it's coming out March 1st!!! So that's the highlight in my life! Don't you love the cover???

Hopefully October things will begin to settle down! Hope everyone is having a pleasant Monday!!! :)

  2. Hey Terry!

Glad to hear that things are getting back to normal. I hope everything is going well with your mom.

I'm excited for your book--with characters named Lelandi Wildhaven and Darien Silver, it has to be awesome!

    Best,

  3. Thanks, Danielle and Judi! The doctor said if the nausea doesn't subside, I've got to bring her back to the hospital. So we're praying she gets better soon.

  6. Terry,
Your post spoke to and for most of us. Life is sometimes hectic. Thankfully, we have wonderful books like yours to take us to faraway places so we can relax and dream. God Bless your mom and good luck to you.

  7. Thanks, Cheryl, Sharon and Amelia!

Sharon, if you're in any Romance chapters or other writer groups, just ask individual authors if they'd like to read your book and give an endorsement. I only had one turn me down who was too busy, but everyone else was very gracious, including three who were best selling authors. You only have to ask. :)

  11. Thanks, Helen and Michele Ann! The cover is beautiful. I couldn't be happier with the way Sourcebooks creates such gorgeous covers. :)

My mom is doing better tonight as far as the nausea goes, but is in a lot of pain again. Thanks for your kind words. I told her that all of the Sourcebooks authors and our publicist wishes her well. That made her feel good. :)

  16. Thanks, Robin and Marie. I had to run her back to the hospital today for several more tests, and she swore I'd better not do that again. LOL Anyway, the doctor was glad I'd brought her down to make sure she was all right, and she's doing much better tonight.
