Maybe Hollywood

I got word during the RWA conference that a producer was very interested in pitching Jazz and friends as a TV series pilot or movie.

And now I’ve signed the contract for that producer to go ahead and create her own form of magic, hopefully finding just the right place to put Jazz on small or large screen.

No guarantees but that’s fine. I figure it’s always nice to be asked and to feel that much interest.

Although, I admit Fluff and Puff would really love to be stars. They consider it their destiny. :}

  2. Yes, yes, yes! This reminds me of the day I threw the question out there in our email loop about what books we would like to see made into movies, and you responded something like, "Besides our own?" I think a Jazz TV series would be so much fun; there is a lot of material there to work with. You can tell'em I said so.

  3. As your publicist, I'm excited to say I knew this already (haha), but gain, CONGRATS on this amazing new development. I love all the characters in the Hex series (and I'm so excited to meet more of the witches in upcoming books), so you know I'm DYING to see Jazz, Nick, and of course Fluff & Puff come to life :)

  5. Thanks Danielle! You'll see Stasi before you know it. Just keep Horace away from anyone wearing skirts or low cut tops.

  8. Woops, I hit upload before I was finished. I think that's called premature .... Never mind. I was going to add that the news is thrilling for you and for all of us by osmosis. Best of luck to Jazz and the gang as they make their way to the screen--big or small, we'll take it!
