Conference Recap + Giveaway with Editor Deb Werksman

Enormous shout-out to all the authors who attended RWA Nationals this year and made it the BEST EVER! That includes our Sourcebooks authors, who are incredibly enthusiastic and full of energy. At our hosted signing, every single author ran out of books. We were thrilled to welcome some of our newest authors into the house at our author dinner, where the food was fabulous, the good cheer was flowing (and there was a conga line to prove it), and the ride back in Cinderella horse-drawn carriages was the highlight of a truly fabulous evening. We are grateful to all the bestselling authors who brought their wisdom, experience and valuable information to share with the entire community. Special SUSANNA KEARSLEY Announcement + a Giveaway!

We're ending the week on a high note, with a special announcement from Sourcebooks Casablanca and Sourcebooks Landmark publicist Beth Sochacki (yeah, she got married this year, too!), about everyone's favorite "novel with romantic elements" author, SUSANNA KEARSLEY!    Since the holidays are about spending time with friends & family, I wanted to share a fun idea we are trying out for a fellow Sourcebooks author.   Susanna Kearsley will be going on a book tour for the release of The Splendour Falls in January. As we were thinking about the tour, we had an interesting thought. Wonder if we invited some of her friends along? Wonder if Susanna traveled to the hometowns of a few of her friends? Then not only would Susanna be able to have events with fellow authors that she admires (and are actual friends of hers! , but readers would also get to meet three great authors at one event. So this January, Susanna is heading out on the Susanna Kearsley & Friends T...

RT Reviewers Choice

from Mia Marlowe... This week the romance world has been abuzz about the announcement of the nominations for RTBOOKReviews Reviewers' Choice award. It's sort of the Emmy's for Romance, with nominations in different categories. I'm thrilled to report that Sourcebooks authors are very well represented on this list. Here they all are: RT Book of the Year: CJ Lyons, Broken Diagnosed with a rare and untreatable heart condition, Scarlet has come to terms with the fact that she’s going to die. Literally of a broken heart. It could be tomorrow, or it could be next year. But the clock is ticking… All Scarlet asks is for a chance to attend high school—even if just for a week-a chance to be just like everyone else. But Scarlet can feel her heart beating out of control with each slammed locker and vicious taunt. Is this normal? Really? Yet there’s more going on than she knows. And finding out the truth might just kill Scarlet before her heart does… Read more......
