New Series by Victoria Roberts

So how much do you love the cover for my new Highland Spies series? I know, right?

Oh, yes. I drooled over the artwork for many ungodly hours, especially since the beautiful cover was created for me by my favorite cover artist, Jon Paul Ferrara. I've admired Jon Paul's work for years. My critique partner and I have a standing joke that I know I made it when I have a Jon Paul cover. To show you just how talented this man is... This was the original artwork Jon Paul created for My Highland Spy.

Imagine my surprise when I found out the man agreed to create ALL the covers for my new series. Did you hear me squee in elation? Most of the country did.

I was also blessed with a cover quote from none other than Hannah Howell. This was really ironic for me because Hannah's Murray brothers were the first romance books that I'd EVER read. No kidding. You could say Hannah is responsible for all the kilted madness within me. I knew Scottish historical romance was the genre I wanted to devour.

I hope you'll follow me from the Bad Boys of the Highlands into the new world of Highland Spies.

"Victoria Roberts spins an exciting Highland tale of intrigue, betrayal, and love with a braw Highland hero and strong English heroine any reader will love."
- Hannah Howell, New York Times bestselling author of Highland Master

Enjoy the back cover blurb for My Highland Spy.

THIS HIGHLAND LAIRD
WON’T BOW TO THE CROWN
Laird Ruairi Sutherland refuses to send his only son
away to be educated by the English. And he most
definitely will not appear in Edinburgh to pay homage
to a liege who has no respect for Scotland or its
people. So he does what any laird would do—he lies
to the king. The last thing Ruairi expects is a beautiful
English governess to appear on his doorstep.

BUT THIS LADY SPY MIGHT MAKE HIM…
Lady Ravenna Walsingham is a seasoned spy who is
sent to the savage Highlands to uncover a nefarious
plot against the Crown. Playing the part of an English
governess—a job easier said than done—she infiltrates
the home of Laird Ruairi Sutherland, a suspected
conspirator.

IF SHE DOESN’T BETRAY HIM FIRST
Ravenna soon discovers that the only real threat
Sutherland poses is to her heart. But will the proud
Highland laird ever forgive her when he discovers the
woman he loves is an English spy?

  3. Yes, ma'am those covers are drool worthy for sure...maybe the book stores should sell bibs with them or at least paper towels with your monogram on them. Congrat's on all the awards...clapping for you and hoping the wind carries the noise to your ears.
