A Highland Werewolf Wedding is HERE! by Terry Spear

Well, officially tomorrow. But that will be here before we know it!

I've been having fun making some new cool book trailer videos--this one for A Highland Werewolf Wedding! Can't wait to make the Jaguar Fever and Savage Hunger ones because I have some terrific photos from the jungle--well, Moody Gardens in Galveston, Texas, but who's telling? :)

I thought the moving objects in a couple of the videos I saw were really neat and I wanted to do that too with the wolf video I took in Omaha, NE. It was a lot of trial and error and "my" wolf didn't do a whole lot in the clip, and I couldn't have very much of it because it would make the trailer too long, but I thought it added to the video.

Busy writing JAGUAR HUNT now coming June 2014, but in between, I'm going to work on some more wolf and jaguar videos to upload for past and future books. They're really easy and lots of fun.

The Scotland pictures I took while I was there. The chapel was the one I had loved and envisioned for the wedding. This was the same castle ruins that my heroine called home. It's Dunnottar Castle on the Irish Sea and supposed to be very haunted. But I felt at peace there and tried to convey that feeling in the story.

Have you ever been somewhere that made you feel good? Like when looking for a home and walk in and think--this is it?

I've done that with all the homes I've bought over the years and the apartments I've lived in. They felt good, right, like I was meant to be there. So that's how Elaine Hawthorn feels when she arrives at the castle ruins.

Who would have ever thought that a clan of Scottish werewolves had lived there!

Here I am bundled up in Omaha while my son took a picture of me and the wolf. The wolf had just found a treasure there. We had seen the "dummy" prey when were first arrived but didn't know what it was for. It took them forever to come and find it. :) And were glad we were there to take a few pictures of the wolves close up.

Here I am bundled up in Scotland at Dunnottar while my friend, Vonda Sinclair, who invited me on the trip there, took the picture. You can probably tell I was cold. :) But even so, we were fortunate to have mostly beautiful weather while we were there. :)

Do you notice a common theme? Cold. Wearing 100% wool coat.

I'm hoping to go back to Scotland sometime in the near future!

Isn't he adorable? Well, sure, the Highland hunk on the cover, too!! But I found this little guy and fell in love with him. So I picked up four for the four conferences I'll be attending, and can't wait to display them on my book signing tables....one lucky winner will get him. :)

So what should his name be?

I'm all about jaguars right now, doing the final proof of Jaguar Fever, trying to keep up on word count for Jaguar Hunt, but with the new release of A Highland Werewolf Wedding, I had to put this little guy in charge of marketing the book. :)

He loves the cool Highlanders and wants a kilt too. :)

Do you like the video? The only thing I could think of that might have made it better was if I could have had more of the hunky Highlander featured! :) What do you think???

One commenter will have the chance to win an autographed copy of A Highland Werewolf Wedding!

I'll try to come back Monday the 15th and announce the winner! It's going to be a crazy month ahead!  Are you ready???

  20. I'd call the little guy Angus (and give him a kilt of his own). I enjoyed the video, and I can't think of a thing to change, it was great.

  21. Sheryl, thanks so much!! And a SEAL Wolf Christmas to come!!! Just for that early Christmas present to get you in the mood! :)

Martha, thanks!!! I hope you love Cearnach's story and Duncan's too!!!

Barbara, I was discussing that very thing with a fan--plaid and spots wouldn't go together too well, but what if I made him a leather kilt??? I think I have some faux leather if I can find it. :)

  22. Great job on the trailer. I can't wait to read this one. I just love your Highlanders, even the ones that aren't shifters. For some reason, I think that little jaguar should be named Derby.

    ReplyDelete
  23. LOL, Stephanie. Derby is cute. :) Thanks for loving my Highlanders. Kilts on a man, well, make a man. :) Don't they?

  24. Oh! You got to see a real wolf! How cool - guess that's quite pun-ny seeing how cold it was in Scotland. I'd love to have the chance to visit Scotland but only in summer. I can't handle cold at all.

    Congrats on the release!

  25. You're a new author for me. My friend had just loaned my To Tempt the Wolf. Loved it. The video was great, and to see from your pictures you're enjoying yourself even though it is cold. Yes good clothes are the key. As for the jaguar I like the name Aiden,...oh or Kieran.
Look forward to reading your new book.

  26. Hey, Linda, I had a blast in Scotland! Yes, been to two wolf reserves now. The one in NE is really neat because the wolves run in a huge area, not caged up in a "dog" run. I'm definitely ready to go to Scotland again!

A Neely, both names sound great! To Tempt the Wolf was one of those books for me that I couldn't stop writing. It was so much fun! I'm thrilled you loved it! Thanks!!! Some friends are the very best! :)
