My Christmas (book) Wish List

I’m getting a new sony ereader for Christmas. It’s sitting in the box in the cupboard waiting for me to fill it with books. In November I decided I was going to empty my old ereader (an ancient sony) as I’m not transferring my old eTBR pile to my new reader. Plus I have to clean it as my eldest child desperately wants the old one (eldest isn’t old enough to read romance and I think eldest also believes books magically appear on the ereader—I wish!).

I’ve made good progress on my eTBR pile, but I have also been making the wish list for my new ereader.

Actually I’ve been making 2 lists, one for me and one for the eldest.

Mine looks a like this:

Defender: Intrepid 1 by Chris Allen

Double Down by Katie Porter

Double Time by Olivia Cunning

Flesh by Kylie Scott

Masquerade by Nicole Flockton

A Clockwork Christmas by JK Coi, PG Forte, Stacy Gail and Jenny Schwartz

Of course as I’ve been concentrating on my eTBR pile my print TBR pile has er…multiplied like gremlins in a bath (I swear I had it down to single depth earlier this year).

What books are you hoping will magically appear on your ereader or in your stocking?

  1. Still love reading paper books and with reading books off a screen all the time (the ones I'm working on), I like the change of pace when I'm reading a story that's not my own. :)

  2. Shona, I have to agree with your list! I have Double Time (in paperback) on my nightstand and Nicole's Masquerade on my e-reader. Read it, and it's fabulous!

  3. I have a huge TBR pile. For Christmas this year I'd most like the time to read them!

  4. My TBR pile is officially out of hand, but having just completed an utterly delightful Grace Burrowes binge, next up are Courtney Milan and Anna Campbell. Or should it be Tes Hilaire, Catherine Mann or Shana Galen?

    Choices, choices. ;-)

  5. I agree with Amanda & Tamara....my TBR pile is so high, it would be nice to just have the time to read all of them...but that doesn't prevent me from wanting all of the lovely new titles being published...

  6. Great post! My TBR pile multiplies like tribbles and I'm not even sure where to begin. All of my Sourcebooks authors are in there but next up is Double Time.

  7. My TBR piles (print & eBooks) are both crazy. But that never stops me from buying more. I would love to have the time to read more (and get over whatever is going on with me that keeps me from being able to read for long periods without getting too sleepy)

  8. I have a feeling my TBR pile is going to get completely out of hand once my Rita books arrive. I'm already two conferences worth of books behind as it is!

  9. Agh, Rita books! So many books, so little time.

  10. I actually haven't caved yet and bought an e-reader. I'm still a fan of paperbacks. I need to catch up though and my TBR pile is growing fast.
