Pass the cupcakes...

Because it’s release day! What’s a party without cupcakes? I ordered some gluten free ones too. Wink. A Lady Can Never be too Curious is releasing today! This is my first Steam Punk romance. When I first started hearing about ‘Steam Punk’, I was curious as to what the gene was. Anyone who knows me, knows I have a love for Victorian bustle dresses, so this new sub category seemed right up my alley. After a fair bit of research, I’ve boiled it down to this, Steam Punk is Victorian science fiction. There is still the back drop of Victorian society with all of its elegant clothing and polished manners.

“Would you like another cupcake? Tea?”

Now that I’ve served my guest I can continue. Steam Punk has an added dash of advanced technology but with an Old West feel. Lots of gears and steam to be precise. Of course, the romance is still the main focus of the book. But it was a blast incorporating and creating my own secret society. The Victorians did enjoy their secretive orders. ‘A Lady Can Never be too Curious’ was a challenge to write but I truly enjoyed it and I hope you’ll consider hopping over to my website to read the excerpt.

Happy release day to all and happy reading!

  5. That cover alone should have the book dancing off the shelves into buyer's hands. Sounds like a fun read...pass another cupcake, please ma'am. I'm told that virtual ones have no calories or fat grams.
