Happy Sin and Satisfaction THURSDAY.....

It's official SIN AND SATISFACTION THURSDAY otherwise known as 'eat your weight in chocolate' day.

THE LEGEND OF MICHAEL releases May 1 and the tag line is HE IS SIN AND SATISFACTION, LUST AND DAMNATION. Well -- there is something else that has come to define LUST AND DAMNATION to me this past 10 days....

Yes these little chocolate puppies have become my DAMNATION. I just sat here while THINKING about what to write on this blog and ate 75% of the bag. Well according to the bag that is 180 calories x 5.....CRINGE.

And by the way -- this is an inspirational post -- just in case you missed the obvious tone. YES I SAY! INSPIRATIONAL. Why? Because this way if YOU celebrate today's special EAT YOUR WEIGHT IN CHOCOLATE day you now know you are not alone. And if you didn't/or don't, then you now know you have more willpower than at least one person -- that person being ME!

I do have to say-- the chocolate inside those Cadbury eggs is just yummy. REALLY yummy. YES...I'm trying to drag you to the dark side with me...or milk chocolate side in this case.

While eating your own chocolates or contemplating your own best sin and satisfaction -- how about a chance to win an ARC of Michael? I'm at the RT blog here.

So happy SIN AND SATISFACTION THURSDAY....!

  2. Top quality chocolate will always be one of my seven favorite meals of the day... though I have my standards, and Cadbury's, alas, meets them handily.

  3. At work, whenever anyone brings anything chocolate, it's gone before you know it. The other goodies? Not so much!

  4. My fat cells are wallowing in ecstasy just reading that today is their day for chocolate! They love the idea of 180x5 because there'll be more fat cells for the party and they do love a chocolate party! LOL

  5. My favorite Easter candy is Russell Stover's Maple Cream Eggs. They're like an orgasm for your taste buds! Couldn't eat my weight in them, though. I don't think they make that many...

  6. I'm one of those annoying people who can eat 3 M & M's or 5 potato chips and then walk away, leaving the rest of the bag. That said, I love good chocolate. My CP and I meet at Barnes & Noble, where it's WAY too easy to throw one or two of those Godiva Dark Chocolate with Raspberry candy bars on the tab...

  7. Oh, I love nuts in my chocolate. You know the ones--peanut clusters, almond bark or even Almond Joys! I like crunch with my chocolate, but I'll take it plain if that is all that's available.

  8. Sara --thank you so much for your support of Michael!:) Can't wait to read your upcoming release!

Candury is EVIL goodness Grace. I'll have to resort to DOVE after Easter. Oh the torture!

Terry/Lee -- DH has such a bad sweet tooth so not being in an office anymore does nothing to save me. He even came home from school last night with a cookie for me in hand! BAD influence he is!

  9. Carolyn -- my fat cells are expanding...I hear that means they never go away. Not sure that is good though I've enjoyed the process!

  10. Tamara I am one of those people who can be soooo good for so long. NO junk. But the deprived state is building and building until I go nuts and then pay the price! I love writing at the bookstore! It's inspiring and I LOVE my white mochas.

  11. I always find chocolate inspiring. I'll take those off your hands so you're not tempted to eat them. You're welcome. You know I'm only thinking of you.

  12. Mmmmmm - eat your body weight in chocolate day - now that's my kind of holiday. Isn't chocolate supposed to be good for you? If so I must be a health nut!

  13. I had a party with my critique group last night and wound up taking home half of a chocolate cake - so yummy and I swear it's 80% frosting. I let Scrape have one piece... the rest is mine, all mine!

  14. Ah, I was just thinking on the way home I'd broken the chocolate addiction. But chocolate creates endorphins much like sex. Both are extremely difficult to do without.

  15. Amelia I LOVE almond joys but I am allergic to almonds. I still love them though. The mounds have dark chocolate. So I have to throw out the almond which is such a waste of goodness.

Olivia -- you've been doing a lot of sinful inspiring lately. Congrats on all the great reviews!

Amanda -- my kind of health nut!

Joanne -- I am an ICING FIEND. LOVE it. I can eat icing and no cake. DH thinks its crazy -- I could have a spoon and the icing.

Marleen-- a woman after my heart lol!
