Happy New Year!
It is for me, especially since New Year’s Day was the official Launch Day for the fourth book in my Domestic Gods Series—Yours for the Taking! And to make a good thing even better, Eloisa James made Yours for the Taking the featured title in Barnes and Noble Review's Reading Romance calling it "an urban twist on a classic tale of marriage for convenience" and "a treat to read, and a sweet, funny way to start the New Year."
So let’s get this party started!
He might be too good to be true…
Ben Walsh shouldn’t be single. Handsome and wealthy, Ben is equally at home in Idaho where he grew up and in Manhattan where he’s now an art dealer. Suave and successful with impeccable taste, he normally has women beating down his door, but the one woman he wants can’t be convinced that he’s for real…
She isn’t sure if she has the time for fairy tales…
Gina Reyez has fought for every bit of her success, and it’s about time for things to start going her way. So when Ben makes a proposal that will allow her to take care of her family the way she wants to, she agrees. Besides, a guy this perfect would never be interested in her…right?
By the time Gina figures out that she’s read Ben all wrong, the arrangements are made, the papers are signed…but what exactly are they getting themselves into?
Today, I’m giving away a copy of Yours for the Taking and a very special Humpin’ Hannah’s T-shirt to one lucky commenter! What? You don’t know what Humpin’ Hannah’s is?
You will when you read Yours for the Taking. Humpin’ Hannah’s is a very real, very cool bar in Boise, Idaho. It’s my favorite place to hang out when I go home. I missed it so much, I made one of my favorite fictional characters, Karma Kincaid, in Yours for the Taking an employee there. The real life owners of Humpin’ Hannah’s (Darcy, Todd, and Dick)
were nice enough to grant me permission to take over their bar and play with it in Yours for the Taking and all my future Domestic Gods Gone Wild books.
I’ll be giving away copies of Yours for the Taking at every stop on my blog tour and a few more Humpin’ Hannah’s T-shirts too. I hope you’ll stop by and visit often!
My blog tour schedule is on my website along with the first chapters of all my books. I hope to see you there!

Congratulations, Robin! I love Launch Parties. YOURS FOR THE TAKING got such a fabulous review at Eloisa's blog yesterday! I'll admit, I was wondering what was up with the Humpin' Hannahs T-shirts. Thanks for the explanation and great pics of the bar and it's owners. Good luck on your blog tour!
ReplyDeleteYay!! Congrats on the release, Robin!
ReplyDeleteHi Robin :) Congrats on the release. I love that you used a real bar. I did that in "Beyond Control". I wish you much success!
ReplyDeleteIt was my great good fortune to get an early read of this one, and it is loads of fun. I love it when a tried and true set up (the marriage of convenience) gets expert handling with a few twists. This books has it all--heart, humor, and--need we state this in a Robin Kaye read?--sizzle! Congrats, congrats, congrats!
ReplyDeleteCongrats, my dear friend, can't wait to read it, and let's meet again soon in NYC!
ReplyDeletelots of love Renée
I'm so excited for this book. I have been loving this series. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun, Robin!! I don't have any fun bars like that around here, although when I visited my son in Pensacola, I loved McGuire's Irish Pub and would love to have included that in a story--they probably wouldn't mind, with millions of dollar bills covering their walls and ceiling, bras hanging in the bar, and a piper on hand...a few werewolves in the place would probably be welcome!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I methinks my wolves need to take a trip to Florida! :)
Congratulations! I can't wait to read this one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a blog tour you've got lined out! It's going to be a busy month!
Hope to see you soon.
