Guest Launch Party - Kiss at Your Own Risk by Stephanie Rowe

Welcome to the launch party for the tortured, refined and highly dangerous warriors of my new paranormal romance Soulfire series. The launch book is Kiss at Your Own Risk, in which an intractable warrior teams up with a cursed spitfire to rescue his best friend from Death's hot-blooded Grandma, in a high-octane and deliciously sexy romance, in which Death takes on a whole new meaning.

I am so excited to be here to share this moment with so many Sourcebooks Casablanca authors and their blog readers!! It's been almost three years since I've had a paranormal romance released, and I'm so thrilled to be launching this new series with Sourcebooks. This book is special to me, because it was the first book I sold after I went through a really difficult time in my life. It took time and tremendous effort to rebuild my creativity and my ability to write with passion and freedom, and it was a journey that forced me to dig deep and find talent and strength and passion I never knew I had. When I first came up with the idea for this series, and the men and women began to come to life for me, I knew that I had found my path again. Well, I hadn't found my path again so much as created a new one that far exceeded where I would have been if I hadn't had to go through the challenges had derailed me so thoroughly. Seeing this book on the shelves fills my heart with joy and pride, because I know it is the most wonderful story I've ever created, it is the masterpiece I strove for and so often thought I could never accomplish. Kiss at Your Own Risk is my salute to all the people out there who felt like the world had upended them so thoroughly that they will never recover, and who yet, somehow, someway, found their way back. So, let's pour the champagne, and let's celebrate the glory of success, of perseverance, of becoming the women we were meant to be! Here's a little bit more about my book:

He Needed a Killer Woman…
Blaine Underhill was one lucky man. Having recently escaped a century and a half of imprisonment at the hands of an evil witch, he's determined to save his still-enslaved friend. But in order to do so, he'll need the help of one of the world's most lethal women.

She was Drop Dead Gorgeous, Literally…
Trinity Harpswell is sick and tired of being a Black Widow. Having managed to go three years without accidentally killing anyone she loves, she's one short week away from freeing herself from this killer curse forever. When Blaine tracks her down and convinces her to help him, little does Trinity know that the next seven days are going to be murder!

Bio: Four-time RITA® Award nominee and Golden Heart® Award winner Stephanie Rowe is a nationally bestselling author of more than twenty books. A life-long reader, she began crafting stories at age ten, but didn't realize it was her dream until she was an adult.

Once the light dawned, she immediately left behind "work" as the world defines it and went to "work" as she defines it, which means getting up every morning with a smile in her heart so she can spend the day doing that which makes her spirit sing.

Stephanie believes in learning to listen to your heart in order to figure out what your dreams are, and then opening yourself to the inspiration that will direct you there. She believes we all deserve the right to enjoy life, that the ride should be as easy as we want it to be, and that we all should accept nothing less than making our dreams come true.

Stephanie lives in New England, and spends every day doing her best to fill it with people, observations and activities that uplift her soul, which include writing, tennis, friends, and her amazing family. For more information, please visit http://www.stephanierowe.com/.

  4. Love the title and the cover is HOT! I'm the poster child for "follow your heart." Forty four years ago (before internet dating or even cell phones) I got engaged to a man I'd never met! Everyone said I was crazy but I married him anyway. They said it wouldn't last but it has for more than 44 years ... just yesterday I used "listen to your heart" in a book I'm working on. Getting back to work ... that book is due the 14th! CONGRATULATIONS on your new release and enjoy the blog tour.
