Happy New Year!

Happy New Year from the CasaBabes! We wish you and yours a healthy, productive 2009! Here are a few words from each of us about resolutions and goals.

Linda Wisdom
1. What's your NY resolution? Hm, they're too easy to break.
2. What's your writing goal for the New Year? Just to keep on writing my witches and do something with my YA urban fantasy.

Loucinda McGary
1. What's your NY resolution? To have more patience... never seems to happen, however. Also to be sure and let the people I care about know that I care.
2. What's your writing goal for the New Year? To have the endurance and creativity to meet my contracted deadlines. WOW! It feels good to say that: contracted deadlines!

Michele Young
1. What's your NY resolution? Write more, play fewer computer games.
2. What's your writing goal for the New Year? Write a bestseller.

Marie Force
1. What's your NY resolution? Never make them, but if I did, I'd probably want to lose weight, work out more, eat better, and write more. Oh, and find some patience. That would be nice. If I made resolutions, that is...
2. What's your writing goal for the New Year? To finish the WIP that's taken me ALL of 2008 to write and to start on my new light contemporary, which I'm calling Heart & Soul. I want it finished by June 1. Selling it would be cool, too.

Judi Fennell
1. What's your NY resolution? I don't make them. Too much pressure. I know what I have to do and focus on it all the time anyway.
2. What's your writing goal for the New Year? To write at least two more books this year - and getting them under contract would be nice!

Beth Cornelison
1. What's your NY resolution? Quit making them!
2. What's your writing goal for the New Year? Make all my deadlines without losing my mind.

Cheryl Brooks
1. What's your NY resolution? Don't do them. Can't keep them, so I don't make them!
2. What's your writing goal for the New Year? To finish Fugitive by Jan 31!

Christina Harlin
1. What's your NY resolution? I’m going to start taking much better care of myself. I turned 40 this year – no more goofing off where this is concerned!
2. What's your writing goal for the New Year? To finish a completely new manuscript from one I’m tinkering with.

Robin Kaye
1. What's your NY resolution? I will be more organized.
2. What's your writing goal for the New Year? To write 5 days a week, consistently.

Sharon Lathan
1. What's your NY resolution? Don't really make them. But I suppose it would be to simply enjoy the fruits of recent labors and keep looking heavenward for peace and inspiration.
2. What's your writing goal for the New Year? To finish the two books I have cooking, and then just let my handsome muse move me as he sees fit.

Mary Margaret Daughteridge
1. What's your NY resolution? New Year's Day is a sort of non-event for me. I want more sense that I am being of service to the world, and that I am giving back some all that has been given me. I hope next year I'll find more and better opportunities.
2. What's your writing goal for the New Year? To finish the first draft of the WIP (right this minute I'm calling it Heat SEALed) by March 1.
