What to Wear for Halloween

by Amanda Forester The beginning of October brings the all-important question – what are you going to be for Halloween? In thinking about my costume this year, I have put costumes into a few different categories. Halloween :   These are all time Halloween favorites, the witch, skeleton, ghost, vampire, pumpkin, Frankenstein, or zombie. Release Day for The Highlander's Bride!

The Highlander's Bride is released today!!  It's so exciting to see it finally launch into the world! I am so excited to return to 14th Century Scotland with Sir Gavin Patrick and Lady Marie Colette!  All Highland warrior Gavin Patrick wants is to get back to his native Scotland. But before he can leave the battlefields of France, he's given a final mission—escort Lady Marie Colette to her fiancĂ©. Under no circumstances is he to lay hands on the beautiful, clever-tongued heiress...no matter how desperate the temptation.   Forced to pose as a married couple to make their escape, Gavin and Colette find themselves thrown into peril...and each other's arms. As the danger mounts, so does their forbidden passion. When Colette is taken from him Gavin must choose—will he jeopardize his honor, defy his promise, and fight to win her back? I have been thrilled with the positive reviews, including 41/2 stars from Romantic Times: Forester’s wonderful medieval romance is dr...

I pack for an overnight looking like I’m going on an expedition to the North Pole. A trip to New York requires more luggage than I own, or certainly care to lug around.   So, I have had to get creative with my packing to make the most of the limited space I have.   Most people will tell you to take less stuff. That is excellent advice…but for those who need (or feel compelled) to bring more than they have space for, here are some tips for cramming more stuff into a small space. 1.        Roll Clothes – rolled clothes fit into the corners of small spaces better and actually ...
