I'm one of seven children so we didn't travel a lot. But I could travel anywhere I wanted by reading a book and I did. I loved it then and I love it now!

I just read a friend's book that had a demon, a witch and an incubus in it. After I finished, I thought "I'm not sure I wanted to go there!"

AmeliaAmeliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07603588884175706382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2802601138878132017.post-72523851509828260382010-07-15T10:45:07.062-04:002010-07-15T10:45:07.062-04:00Reading has always been one of the greatest source...Reading has always been one of the greatest sources of pleasure for me too. Sadly I don't have as much time either, and have to say that is probably the biggest draw back to adding writing into my already busy life. *sigh At least the books will always be there waiting for me. Such as Heyer. I have yet to read one of her books and know that I should. Maybe that would be a good Kindle add for my upcoming vacation! Which one would you suggest I start with?Sharon Lathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09539439531975181469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2802601138878132017.post-82505930144297589922010-07-15T10:01:38.356-04:002010-07-15T10:01:38.356-04:00Amanda~

I read while I cook, I'll be stirring the pasta with one hand and holding a book in the other, if I'm in line at the grocery store, I have my book with me. I'm known in my neighborhood as the book lady. I used to wait for my daughter's bus and would be reading while I waited morning and afternoon.

Right now I'm doing something I almost never do--I'm re-reading a book. It's The Winter Sea by Susanna Kearsley. Sourcebooks will be releasing it for the US...Hmm...I'm not sure when, but I know they will and it's fabulous! I read it a year and a half ago and it's stayed with me all this time. I was going to bring my copy down to my Mom to read, but I honestly don't want to give it up. I thought I better re-read it before I lend out--even to my mother.Robin Kayehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16262933225938609682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2802601138878132017.post-52463684594941630912010-07-15T09:06:18.733-04:002010-07-15T09:06:18.733-04:00Look at all of those lovely Sourcebooks Heyer edit...Look at all of those lovely Sourcebooks Heyer editions! I'm reading a lot of different stuff--between contemporary romance, a vampire...hmmm, don't think it's a romance, at least not yet and I'm on cd #4 so far--although I keep waiting for the romance to come into the picture--sigh, and historical romances. I'm eclectic, you see. And of course, I read wolf stuff. The real stories about real wolves. :) Have fun reading!Terry Spearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14788961423817944896noreply@blogger.com
