One morning in late March, I got a wonderful phone call: Secrets of a Scandalous Heiress was named a finalist in the Short Historical category of the RITA® awards! The RITAs are the most distinguished award in romance writing, and I couldn’t be more honored.
When I got off the phone, I told Little Miss R the good news. She gave me a big hug and told me congratulations–then asked me to finish making her a chicken leg out of Play-Doh. Priorities, people.
