Have Love; Will Travel

I've been on the road (or airplane or ship) so much recently that I'm glad to be home, even though home is covered in snow. I love to escape the winter, and my darling, whom I call Mr. Amazing, knows this well.

In early January, we went to our time-share condo in Cocoa Beach Florida. I bought it as a birthday present to myself many years ago. (I'm no fool.) After the death of my parents Christmas was a hard holiday and I needed something to look forward to. Sometimes we trade it, so we don't always go to the same place, but wherever we go it's always warmer than New England! I really enjoy our yearly winter escape.

This year, my wonderful Mr. Amazing surprised me by extending our vacation a few days and taking us on a cruise to the Bahamas. (How did I get so lucky?) The man really deserves his nickname.

Then we returned home for two days. Just enough time to do the laundry and repack, because he had a business trip Barcelona. Sometimes, when he can, he takes me along, so in late January he took me to Spain!

Now, you'd think this was quite enough travel for the first of the year. Nope. One more trip was in the offing. I had booked the FRW's Cruise with your Muse. I offered Mr. Amazing the same deal--come with me, but he didn't want to take another vacation so soon. So, I went with my friend Christine Bunt.

I had a wonderful time, not only cruising to Cozumel, Mexico, but also receiving loads of inspiration from workshops, camaraderie and consultations.

My plane home was delayed three times due to a snowstorm at home, but I finally made it back into the arms of my fabulous Mr. Amazing at about 11:00 that evening. Got home after midnight and slept like the undead. ;)

Last night, after only one load of laundry was done, he mentioned, "Oh, I may have to go to Dublin, or the Netherlands, or both at the end of March. Wanna come along?" (Face palm.)

Where would you like to go with the one you love?

    1. I can when the technology cooperates, Shana. My laptop was totally messed up on the last cruise, so now I'm playing 'catch up.'
      Time for a new laptop!

    1. Yes! Italy is on ours as well. We're planning a long trip there in 2017 when Mr. Amazing has a month off. We'll be taking my daughter too.
