Happy Mother's Day

from Mia Marlowe...

This is going to be a post on the fly... literally. I'm in the Salt Lake City airport after flying all night from Honolulu back to the mainland. I'm still only halfway home.

But even though I'm punchy, I'm happy and oh-so grateful. I just spent a week cruising around the islands with my DH, our daughters and my parents. Hawaii is "hurt your eyes" beautiful. The people are warm and welcoming and the islands are rich with a vibrant culture and history. In the days to come, I'll be sharing more on my blog, but for now, I just want to wish all the mommies out there "Happy Mothers Day!"

While I was on vaca, I read Sherry Thomas's BEGUILING THE BEAUTY and Colby Hodge's STARGAZER. What have you read lately?

  1. Happy Mother's Day, Everyone! I'm busy with edits to Howl for a Highlander and finishing up writing Highland Wolf Wedding...no time for vacations or such!

Happy Mother's Day to all y'all! Like Terry, I've been too busy to read for fun (but looking forward to Sue Grafton's newest one of these days)...WIP, pages for the December release, one last polish on the women's fiction...life is grand!

  6. Terry, sometimes you have to make time for a little vaca. I'm physically exhausted, but I feel as if I've really recharged my creative batteries on this trip. We'll see if it translates into a solid page count tomorrow! ;-)

  9. Carolyn, I read V is the Vengeance last month. It was good. Grafton always crafts a quick, tight plot.

  10. I'm working on, "Beau Brummel: The Ultimate Man of Style," and just finished Mary Balogh's "The Proposal," and JR Ward's "Lover Reborn."

  11. We owe Beau a debt of thanks, Grace. He taught London Society to shed their wigs and wash their hair!
